Call for photos
About 400 different species are illustrated with pictures on our factsheets, and 1400 species have been registered on the site. We aim to illustrate most of the species in Norway...
Lepidoptera.no is both a resource for identification, and a database for registering moths and butterflies. About 25% of the Norwegian species are illustrated in our factsheets, and 70% of the species recorded in Norway have been recorded in the database. If you have high quality pictures of species that do not have images on the factsheets, we appreciate any contribution. A list of wanted species can be seen here.
More information:
- The insects shold have a natural background.
- We prefer images in high resolution, and use them in a 4:3 format.
- Send pictures to post@lepidoptera.no
- Photographers will be credited on the factsheets.
- Pictures will not be used for anything else than the factsheets, and the photographer have full copyright.
