Skistadion i kant av myr med spredt furutrær på nordsiden. Løypetraseer med rik blomst og grass vegetasjon. Mye kløverblomst, lupiner etc. Ganske åpne traseer med sidevegitasjon av dunkjevle, bringebær, siv og grass + høye blomsteplanter som bl.a. tistel. Traseer omgitt av gran og blandingskog. Tidvis også edelløvtrær. Myrområder både i nord og syd. Noe blåbær- og røsslyng. Tilstøtende Gjennestadvannet SØ-side. Kupert terreng med fuktige dumper/ drensgrøfter og tørre solutsatte områder.
